If you are a family living outside of the School District but would like to open enroll your student, we welcome you to do so. The open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their student to attend a public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside.  It is recommended that parents apply online for this program. Parents may select up to three (3) districts when applying.

The 2025-26 Open Enrollment Brochure for the upcoming regular application period is now available on our open enrollment website. The open enrollment regular application period for the 2025-26 school year runs from midnight on February 3, 2025 and ends at 4:00pm on April 30, 2025.

For the 2025-26 school year, the School District of Cudahy Board of Education approved 257 new Open Enrollment seats.

There are zero (0) special education open enrollment seats for the 2025-2026 school year.

This decision was based on current enrollment numbers, class sizes, and projected enrollment for the 2025-26 school year.

If there are more applications than spaces, the Board will fill the available spaces by random selection, provided that first priority will be given to non-resident students already attending District schools and their siblings.

The District will establish a numbered waiting list of all applicants in which seats are available. When all available slots have been filled by randomly selecting names from grade-specific applicants, the remaining names will be drawn randomly and placed on the waiting list in order of selection.

Students already attending the School District of Cudahy through the Open Enrollment program do not need to reapply.
