- J.E. Jones Parent/PTO Member

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for Coach Antonio. I have been a Cudahy Football mom since 2016. Although I never played or coached football, I know how much of an impact a coach has on players.

As Coach Antonio was named interim head coach, the other parents and I have noticed a drastic positive change (and this doesn't even include the Sherwood win- although that was a wonderful lift to their spirits)

The changes that I have witnessed as a parent:

They believe in themselves! There's a shift in attitude of helping and cheering for each other on the sidelines! They didn't have a new playbook and still kept going. The current players felt supported by their teammates that rejoined. They respect their new coach and see him as a role model.

To be honest, the past couple of years have been hard to watch the players not only lose games and faith in themselves but also lose sense of what it means to be a TEAM! Whether they win or lose, Cudahy football has lost the sense of UNITY.

Even though the boys lost their JV game yesterday, they fought until the very last second! They stopped Grafton from scoring twice when they had first downs from the one yard line. You might not be at all the games but I am. And so are many other parents. Last night was huge! Not just for the scoreboard but for their new found determination. That is what prompted me to write this email.

Coach Antonio has been brought in unexpectedly midseason. I see the beginnings of a new and positive football culture for our players. Winning is great, but teaching kids to have faith in each other and themselves is even GREATER. What an impactful way to build a new foundation!

Also, I know how important parent involvement is...I can see this positive change brings together our community and makes parents want to get more involved.

Finally, this whole experience was a blessing in disguise because although it brought challenges to the players (dealing with their emotions and starting a whole new playbook) -- They see a man who stepped in and immediately demonstrates the potential that they all have.

-CHS Student-Athlete Parent

We have amazing staff who go above and beyond everyday! Lisa Jimenez and Quinten Paul are prime examples of that. They have stepped up to take on new roles for their colleagues who are away on leave. Thank-you for keeping things running! You are appreciated!

Over the ten years of being a GM family the pick up line has grown exponentially and man have they adapted. We walk due to how many cars use the pick up line and this year looked so much smoother than it ever has before! Nice work Mr. Moore and team!

Mrs. Kim Cutts for all of the time she spent coordinating artists, both current and alumni students, to work on the mural for the lobby of Cudahy High School; and to all of the artists who were involved in creating it!

I understand how much work goes into a project like this, and the fact that they completed and unveiled it within a year in the midst of everything else going on is amazing. It's such a beautiful and inspiring piece of artwork that showcases the waves of opportunity that students have here at Cudahy High School. If you haven't seen it yet, make a point of stopping by to check it out.
