The J.E. Jones Student Council has proudly announced the successful completion of their recent collection drive in support of the Wisconsin Humane Society. The drive, which aimed to gather essential supplies for the welfare of animals in need, saw an overwhelming response from the school community.

Led by dedicated faculty members Mrs. Fitzpatrick, Mrs. Honsinger, and Mrs. Drana, the student council orchestrated a campaign that resonated throughout the school. Students from kindergarten through sixth grade enthusiastically participated, contributing a wide array of items including toys, food, cleaning supplies, and even handmade blankets.

Upon delivery, the magnitude of the collection was evident as two massive bins filled with donations were unloaded at the Wisconsin Humane Society. The humane society expressed deep gratitude for the generosity displayed by the J.E. Jones school community.

Throughout the academic year, the J.E. Jones Student Council has been at the forefront of various initiatives, including fundraising efforts, PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) initiatives, fostering school spirit, and engaging in community service projects.

The J.E. Jones Student Council extends its heartfelt appreciation to all students, parents, and staff members who contributed to the success of the collection drive. Their collective effort has not only enriched the lives of animals but has also reinforced the importance of service and compassion.
