This week we recognize Corbyn Wilson, a senior at Cudahy High School, as our Superhero of the Week. Corbyn is a member of the National Honor Society and has volunteered within his community since the 6th grade. He will graduate with distinction wearing a rope signifying that he has logged more than 80 hours of service during his high school career.

Corbyn is also a mentor to the new incoming freshman and eighth-grade students that will be entering high school, and he is a team leader for the Courage Retreat which is an annual retreat at Cudahy Middle School. In this retreat, he helps teach middle school-age kids to be brave, to have the courage to stand up for what is right, and to speak up against bullying.

He is an athletic team leader and travels to Cudahy Elementary Schools to read to younger students. He played soccer during his junior and senior years of high school and was a captain in both years. During his senior year, he made second-team all-conference for defense. He also played all four years of basketball and won the “Packer Pride” award his freshman year.

He has taken AP courses throughout high school and is currently enrolled in a college course through The University of WI Oshkosh. He has been accepted to all of the colleges that he applied to and is still deciding which college he will attend. He is most interested in Medicine and Criminal Justice.

Outside of school, Corbyn is a lifeguard for the Cudahy Recreation Department. He is also family oriented and enjoys helping his grandmother by taking her to doctor appointments, cleaning, and doing her grocery shopping.

Congratulations Corbyn! Thank you for all you DO and all that you ARE!
