Jason Kuechenmeister

We are happy to introduce you to a new member in our District Special Education Team. Jason Kuechenmeister has taken on our newest Liaison role of District Family Engagement Liaison.

The district Family Engagement Liaison is a position coordinated by the Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) grant.

Jason’s role is responsible for promoting positive, collaborative relationships between families, educators and districts in a confidential manner. Each year, Jason is required to attend training and ensure he is up to date with all of the proper resources to serve the families in the district in the most efficient way possible and provide them access to the numerous resources available to help them through their child’s special education journey.

Most importantly, Jason is available to parents and family members of students as a neutral support resource to help with questions about the IEP process, finding school / community resources, and listening to concerns. Jason’s role also includes working with the special education department on strategies and activities to help encourage family involvement, a sense of community, and partner on ways to best meet everyone’s needs effectively.

While Jason’s day job for over 15 years is a Sr. Director of Technology, he is no stranger to the Special Education world nor processes within. He has two children who received Special Education services within the State; one is now 22 years old and the other almost 5 years old attending school here at CSD. Jason is excited to further work with us and our parents to grow our District even stronger while fostering a partnership approach in all ways possible.
