Last week, Kozy students were able to participate in a super fun math and literacy activity! Daphne Draws Data helps students develop their data-drawing superpowers! Kids will hear the book read aloud and participate in a hands-on graphing activity to answer a question that peaks their interest. This engaging event will inspire kids to continue to explore graphing and help them build life long problem solving skills!

April 9th is National School Library Worker’s Day! Please take a moment to recognize our dedicated district library staff who contribute to managing our district libraries. These dedicated professionals not only manage library resources but also foster a love of reading, teach information literacy skills, and support the academic and personal growth of students. April 7-11 is National Assistant Principals Week! In addition to having Steve Madden as a dedicated Assistant Principal, the School District of Cudahy is fortunate to have 2 dedicated Dean of Students who also deserve recognition this week! Rebecca Mc.Evoy-Angeles at the high school and Emily Kijek-Schwandt at the middle school! April is National School Library Month. In April, we acknowledge the important role that school libraries and librarians play in transforming learning. School libraries are an invaluable resource within schools, offering students and staff access to a wealth of information, literature, and technology. School libraries are not just places to check out books; they are a place for students to develop a love for reading, develop critical thinking skills, and explore new ideas.

April 3rd is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! Please join us in thanking our amazing paraprofessionals within the School District of Cudahy! We are so fortunate to have the most dedicated and hard-working paraprofessionals! They dedicate each day to providing educational support to our students. They assist with classroom management, provide individualized attention to students, and contribute to the educational development of our students. THANK YOU!


April is Occupational Therapy Month! This month, we recognize the important role our occupational therapists play in working with our students. These dedicated OTs help our students develop, recover, and maintain the daily skills necessary. April 2nd is World Autism Day!


Our 4th, 2nd, and 3rd grade students from Kosciuszko visited MSOE STEM center recently! They were able to learn hands-on through various STEM activities! Thank you to MSOE for welcoming our students and providing them with this fun learning experience!
