On October 30th students will be able to wear costumes throughout the day. Please see below to make sure your child's costume follows the Lincoln expectations.
1. Your costume must allow you to sit in a desk throughout the day, participate in PE, recess, etc.
2. Leave all costume props at home (especially weapons, toys, etc) that would distract from learning.
3. Costumes must be school-appropriate; keep the scary stuff at home as Mr. Orlowski gets too scared.

6th graders at Lincoln Elementary recently brought Greek Mythology to life during their Living Wax Museum! 🏛️⚡
Students selected a mythology figure to research and portray, then shared their presentations with fellow Lincoln students and 6th grade families. Our 6th graders did an amazing job presenting their characters and showcasing everything they learned!

Last week, the Cudahy Fire Department stopped by Lincoln to help our 4th grade students with their annual Egg Drop challenge! 🚒🥚
Students designed and created unique egg carriers to protect their eggs from cracking as they were dropped from the roof. There were many successful egg drops along with lots of creative and innovative designs! 👏✨
Thank you to the Cudahy Fire Department for once again helping make this hands-on learning experience so much fun for our students!

Reading aloud at home supports important literacy skills at every age. Research shows that listening to books slightly above a child’s reading level helps build vocabulary and comprehension. Even for older children who can read independently, sharing chapter books together remains a valuable and enjoyable experience.
We’ve chosen a story that younger students can follow and enjoy while still keeping older readers engaged and excited to read along. We can’t wait to see our students and families connect through this shared reading experience! 💜💛
