The Lincoln Student Council truly outdid themselves in their efforts to support Project Concern! They collected items to be donated to Project Concern. Thank you to all of our Lincoln Families for their overwhelming generosity and willingness to contribute so many wonderful items. All of the donations will make a significant difference in our local community, providing much-needed support and resources to those in need.

Ms. Brzeczkowski's 5th-grade class at Lincoln put their math skills to work by voting for who they want to win the Super Bowl by creating a graph to see the results! After voting, students analyzed the data, by using their knowledge from their recent fraction unit and noticed some interesting patterns. 16 out of 18 students (or 8/9 of the class) predicted an Eagles win, while just 2 out of 18 (1/9) chose the Chiefs—making them the clear outliers in the data!
There was a great discussion about game predictions and how fractions can help us understand class data. (And what the best Super Bowl commercial is.) Check out the graph to see how the numbers play out!
