Veteran's Day is a day dedicated to honoring our military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Today we recognize the sacrifices and contributions of military personnel. We honor the courage and dedication of those who have worn the uniform and give appreciation for their service.

November is Homelessness Awareness Month and National Runaway Prevention Month. Homelessness affects thousands of people including children and families. During the 2022-23 school year in Wisconsin, over 18,000 students experienced homelessness. Everyone deserves a safe permanent place to call home. If you or someone you know may be experiencing homelessness, please reach out to your child's school. Staff may be able to provide assistance and resources. November is Native American Heritage Month! This is a time to celebrate and honor the rich histories, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Native American peoples. Native American traditions and knowledge have shaped America's history. Through storytelling, art, music, and dance, Native American Heritage Month gives a deeper understanding and appreciation of this vibrant culture!


High School students had the opportunity to attend the College and Career Fair on October 19th! Various colleges and organizations were on site to talk to students about various college paths, career opportunities as well as potential apprenticeship programs available. Thank you to UW-LaCrosse, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Platteville, UW-Milwaukee, Alverno College, Marquette University, MIAD, Carroll University, ATI Metals, Krones, Milwaukee Electrical JATC, Milwaukee Building & Construction Trades, Plumbers Local 75, Labor Union, Carpenters Union, MATC, WCTC, Milwaukee Career College, JTC Sheet Metal, Broadcasting Business Agent, IBEW Local Union 2150, Bell Ambulance, Aveda Beauty School, Aurora St. Lukes Radiology, St. Luke's South Shore Director of Nursing, US Navy, US Marines, US Air Force-ROTC, US Army and US Army National Guard.

Please join us for the CHS Theater Department's production of The Phantom Tollbooth! There will be three performances, November 14th, 15th, & 16th at 7pm in the Cudahy High School Auditorium. Tickets are $8.00 for general admission and $4.00 for senior citizens and students. Don't miss out on another fantastic performance at CHS!

Our final Community Information Session is tomorrow, October 23, at 10:00 AM at the Cudahy Library! Anne Chapman from WASBO (Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials) will speak to the community on why districts need to go to referendum. Following the presentation, School District of Cudahy administrators will be available to speak with community members and answer questions. All Cudahy residents are encouraged to attend!


October 21-25 is Safe Schools Week. 🏫 Schools across the country prioritize creating a safe and secure learning environment for all students not just this week but every day!

🎼 The Cudahy High School Marching Band is wrapping up its season this weekend! 🎼 Saturday, October 19th, 2024, they will be traveling to Whitewater to compete at the WSMA State Marching Band Championships. On Sunday, October 20, 2024. the Cudahy High School Marching Band will be hosting its annual Senior Recognition & Finale Performance for families and the community. The event will be held from 1:30 - 3:30 pm. The Finale Performance will begin at 2 pm. Following the performance will be senior recognition, pictures, and refreshments.
