The Cudahy Health Department is holding a free flu and covid vaccine clinic on Friday, September 27th from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Kelly Senior Center. Drive-thru and indoor vaccinations are available. No appointments are necessary.
To Cudahy Parent/Guardian and Staff
There is a current Pertussis outbreak in Milwaukee County and cases currently more than ten times higher than last year in Wisconsin.
The best way to prevent pertussis, known as whopping cough, is to get vaccinated.
The Cudahy Public Health Department has vaccines available for uninsured children or on BadgerCare/Medicaid – Parents can call or text at 414-769-2239 for an appointment; others are encouraged to contact their doctor.
Practice good hand washing. This can help prevent the spread of bacteria. Clean surfaces & focus on touch areas. Use disposable towels to wipe away contaminants, then disinfect with a 1:49 dilution of bleach and water.

Every minute counts! ⏰ Being in school every day is one of the best ways to succeed! One of the most important days of the school year for attendance is Friday, September 20th! On the third Friday of September every year, the Department of Public Instruction counts all students enrolled in Wisconsin public schools. These numbers are used to calculate state funds that are provided to our schools.
It is very important that ALL students attend on Friday, September 20th to be counted! This will ensure that our schools will receive funding for every student. Third Friday count determines the dollars that your child's school will receive to that we can continue to provide all students with a quality education.
Tuesday, September 17th is National IT Professionals Day! 💻 The Cudahy team of dedicated IT professionals ensures that our district technology runs smoothly, secures our data, and keeps us connected across six buildings! Thank you to our tech team, Rebecca Rentmeester, Brett Oakes, Maziar Ebrahimnejad, and Thomas Attipetty!
Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate and recognize Hispanic and Latino Americans' contributions, culture, and history. It takes place annually from September 15 to October 15. This period was chosen because it aligns with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, which all celebrate their independence on September 15. Mexico and Chile follow shortly after, celebrating on September 16 and September 18. It's a time for everyone to learn about the vibrant cultures of the Hispanic Heritage!
The School District of Cudahy will hold three community information sessions regarding the upcoming referendum. All residents of the School District of Cudahy are invited to learn more about the District's Operational and Capital Referendum questions at the community information session.
Wednesday, October 2 - 6PM - General Mitchell Elementary School
Thursday, October 10 - 6PM - Cudahy High School
Wednesday, October 23 - 10AM - Cudahy Public Library
